Our Story

Fudi Hospitality Group, a chef driven team out of Charleston SC, lands a Tampa hot spot for fresh, local seafood. Introducing Ocean Ink, an Indoor-Outdoor city spin on a Raw Bar. Located on the corner of 7th Avenue and N 17th Street in the historic Ybor City. Ocean Ink is one of several projects planned by the veteran hospitality group, bringing food and cocktail life to Ybor City,  Tampa’s Historic District. Fudi Group specializes in historic building renovations, edgy emotional concepts, and locally inspired quality menus. Everything we love about Charleston can be developed right in our hometown of Tampa Bay, we see so many similarities moving forward.

While the environment will be open air and market like, its a classic raw bar through and through. Stars on the menu will be the Lobster Roll, served two ways, shrimp from Key West (Dominick’s Seafood), as “Pinks" are the premier shrimp in the country. Rounding out the menu, a wide variety of Oysters. Expect to see Estuary’s from the Pan Handle, Salty Sebastian Silvers from Indian River, and East Coasters all the way up to Rappahannock. 

The Fudi approach has always been to create an exciting environment, fitting of its community, and go above and beyond in food and guest appreciation. While food is very important, most important to our success has been the people behind the scenes from finding these great ingredients to making each patron feel welcome. Every venue in the Fudi portfolio is designed with “approachability” in mind, everyone is welcome no matter how refined the ingredient. Great food, great fun has been our passion and purpose for three decades, all beginning in Palm Harbor Florida back in 1992.
